Time and Distance VW Service
Time and Distance VW Services, otherwise known as the Fixed VW Service, are recommended for low mileage drivers. An example of this is if you are likely to drive your Volkswagen for 10,000* miles or less. Alternatively, they can be useful if you are one of the following types of drivers:
- If you mostly drive throughout cities (short journeys with frequent cold starts).
- If you frequently engage in high engine loading activities (i.e., driving with your vehicle fully loaded, hill climbs, or are often towing).
- If you are an uneconomical driver (i.e., using high RPMs with heavy accelerations and braking).
Longlife VW Services
Longlife VW Services or Variable Volkswagen Services are recommended for regular long-distance drivers. This would classify as those who travel up to a maximum of 20,000 miles* or every 24 months (whichever occurs first). You will also qualify for this service if you drive your Volkswagen more than 25 miles a day, or 10,000 miles per year. Alternatively, if you drive at constant speeds with minimum vehicle and engine loading and minimal towing.
